We spent Mother's Day at Hope Town Inn and Marina. After taking Caroline & Lainey & Faris & James (aka Jimmy) on a tour of the island, we relaxed in the pool. Our Marsh Harbour Marina friends -Boo, Tom, Bradley and Steve were there enjoying the day.
After dinner by the pool, we headed over to the Lighthouse for a tour and to see Jeffrey light the kerosene that sends the light out to mariners for 15 miles. I have seen this twice and have found it fascinating each time.
Wishing everyone a Happy Mother's Day--especially mine--who encourages us on this crazy adventure!
Missing Katy on Mother's Day--she sent over a great card by Lainey--Can't wait to get you and your friends on board when we get back to the states.
The internet is sporadic here so there are far too few posts and virtually no pictures. Get ready for our return because I have much to say and many beautiful pictures.
We plan to start heading back later this week if we get good weather. There is a weather front coming in today (Monday) so we are heading to Marsh Harbour Marina to wait it out.
I can hear the rooster's crow while I write-the sound transports me back home--there are roosters and chickens on every island we have visited. Missing home and all our friends and family
joy
