Scheels --a store for everyone!

In 1902 Frederick A Scheel earned $300 from his first harvest of potatoes on three acres of land.  Taking his earnings, he started a small store selling hardware and general merchandise.  From this humble start, there are now 25 locations.  We had to visit the location in Sandy, UT on our way to visit Caroline at her workplace in Provo.  

The hardware store has morphed into a sporting goods store with sports apparel for men, women, and children.  There are also multiple sources of entertainment such as bronze sculptures, an aquarium, photo op spots with bears, a Ferris wheel, mini bowling and a shooting to mention just a few.  For those who get hungry while shopping there is a Fudge shop,  Starbucks coffee, Gelato, soups and sandwiches.  
The gun shop has the largest selection of guns in Utah.
