Key Largo

Rainy days mean car trips to indoor activities.  Diane and Mike were visiting and suggested going to Key Largo to The Fish House to try Lobster Mac & Cheese for lunch   We were all in for this trip.  After reading the menu several times we couldn't find the Lobster Mac & Cheese.  The waitress told us we would have to come back to the sister restaurant  Encore  for that particular item served only at dinner.  

Driving around we discovered John Pennenkamp Coral Reef Park.  The Park offers glass bottom boat tours to the coral reefs just 3 miles from Key Largo.  The high speed catamaran boat is 65 feet long and can take 130 passengers to view the shallow reefs.  It sounded fun and there were only 5 people signed up for the tour so we would have had our own window.  After hearing that there were 4 foot seas, we decided it didn't sound so fun after all. A visit to the park aquarium sounded like a good bet to us.
