World's 26th Largest Yacht

We took the dinghy down for a quick run around St. Pete the other day and discovered Tatoosh--the world's 26th largest yacht.  Yes, we took our 10 1/2 foot dinghy up next to the 303ft boat which is owned by Paul Allen, cofounder of Microsoft.  Look at the inside here!  

Tatoosh is for sale!  She can be yours for somewhere in the vicinty of 160 million dollars.  She has 5 decks, a limestone fireplace, a six foot deep swimming pool, facilities for TWO helicopters, a custom Hinkley 40 ft powerboat, a Hinckley 40 ft sailboat and 5 jet skis.  She costs about $38,000 a week to keep running.  

After looking at Tatoosh, we ran into some dinghy trouble and made an emergency stop after discovering we had a hole in our oil filter.  Luckily--my husband is a genius and fixed it so that we could continue exploring.  

 We saw this boat in St. Simons a while back--it is getting repaired before going on tour again. 

I love this photo of the channel markers on shore.  They are much larger than they look when in the water.
