Slow start to this beautiful day at Marsh Harbour. We set off on bikes early to find a
church/house. We couldn't tell if the
building we were seeing atop a hill was a home or church, so we started out to
explore. As we headed up the hill, Steve
stood up on his loaner bike to get up the hill.
The chain broke, but he didn't get hurt. He walked the bike back to the marina for
another bike. Riding into town is an
adventure. The roads are narrow and the
cars drive very fast. We have to
continuously remind ourselves which way the cars are coming. It is not a very pleasurable experience in
town.
After lunch we went snorkeling again. We had the reef to ourselves. Steve spotted a barracuda as soon as we got
into the water. I was still doing my
backwards, try not to fall, walk into the water. I used to consider myself a coordinated
person. Throw in fins, goggles, and
snorkel and I become the most uncoordinated person on the planet. Steve looks at me with pity in his eyes.
Lee and Lynn of Anejo returned
to the marina late in the afternoon. We
enjoyed talking with them and again gleaning whatever we can from their
experiences.
After a snack supper we watched the news of the bombings in
Boston. Our prayers go out to everyone
involved.
