April 4
Great Harbour Cay Marina
It was such a relief to arrive at the marina. After we tied up, we sat and watched as the
marina continued to fill. One by one we
saw the boats come in for refuge from the winds. As we entered the cut to the marina we saw S/V Juliana grounded. She arrived later in the day to join
everyone.
We met everyone at the poolside restaurant for social hour
about 5:30. There were three couples
from North Carolina, one from New York and another from Canada. It was a delight to hear them tell their
travel stories. Two of the couples were
expert fishermen who were trying to convince us to return with them to Devil's
Cay/Hoffman Cay so they could teach me
how to fish from the dinghy for grouper.
They enjoyed teasing me!
