More Black Creek

We anchored on Black Creek just outside of Camp Chowenwaw.  The camp is part of an 150 acre side in Clay County, Fl.  It was operated as a Girl Scout Camp for more than 70 years.  The park has 100 acres of wetlands and 50 acres of upplands.  It is a habitat for many water birds and provides vegetation for the manatee population.  The camp has tent sites, lodges, and tree house cabins.  Each site includes picnic tables and grills for campers use.  

Our dinghy ride up Black Creek did not disappoint.
