Black Creek Memorial?

We enjoy seeing nature when we take out the dinghy along creeks and rivers but we also like seeing unique man made touches.  We saw the sign about boating safety and then noticed the small church birdhouse on the fallen tree.

    Hummmm, a waterway equivalent of a roadside memorial??? I find those very intriguing.
